The mission of the Office of Institutional Relations is to identify affinity groups, to cultivate relationships and to communicate the unique story of the seminary thereby advancing the mission of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  The purposes of the Woman's Auxiliary of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary include serving the seminary community through prayer support, providing scholarships for qualified women students, showing hospitality services to visiting professors, ministering to international students, and fostering the participation of women in projects to enhance the seminary's usefulness to the dneomination and the cause of Christ.  The Woman's Auxiliary was organized in 1961 with Mrs. Elizabeth Fuller, widow of President Ellis Adams Fuller, serving as the first executive secretary-treasurer/director.
